Warren James - Professional Musician

Welcome to the website of musician Warren James. At 27 years old Warren is one of the UK's highest rated guitarists for studio and live tours.

Based in Coventry, West Midlands, Warren specialises in a wide range of styles including blues, rock ‘n’ roll and country. His own country guitar sounds have been compared to those of legends Albert Lee and James Burton.

In 2003/4 a tour of Germany provided the opportunity of recording with Benny and Bastian Korn of the pop group Korn Twins 78, he also performed with jazz leader and record producer Lutz Eikelmann during the same session.

In October 2003 Warren undertook a major UK tour with Paul Leegan & The Legends. Further concert dates with Paul have remained popular and Warren has continued touring as a member of Pauls band of Legends.

As well as tours with Paul Leegan and countless other bands Warren has shared the bill with the likes of Joe Brown, Brian May and Joe Pasqualie. Warren also fronts his own musical outfit called The Warren James Band performing a mixture of his own favourite songs.

17th February 2010: Hi folks,

Well just a quick update to say that so far it has been a flying start to the new year. Infact things have developed in a large way for me since my last update.

I'm touring with the 50s Rock n Roll show and attendance figures are doing great and all the shows are a success.

The Johnny Cash Story tour as you can see from my dates list is pretty much a major feature of the year and I'm pleased to say I love the show and it's rocking on really well... do get along when ever you can!
